Although I don’t get the opportunity to take senior portraits often, I absolutely love doing them! We did Tristan’s portraits last fall and I can’t believe I’m just now blogging them! We got so many great shots, and Tristin is obviously a natural model. Doing senior portraits is fun and I hope to do more session soon! Hair by Brandy Marlin, makeup by Alicia Maynard.

This photography session was so much fun, and a bit different for me. Danyelle is a high school senior from Indiana who was referred to La Photographie by her Nashville cousin. Danyelle had some super fun ideas about what type of portraits she wanted, specifically a Georgian/Rococo/Victorian-inspired style. We rented wardrobe from Performance Studios in Nashville, Shana Taylor sculpted a perfect hairstyle, while Eryk Datura topped off the styling with lovely, subtle makeup. We secured an old Victorian home near downtown Nashville for the location, which turned out to be the perfect background for the session. With a unique, almost haunted edge to the images, Danyelle’s senior portraits are sure to be different from everyone else’s, and we are so thankful that she traveled the distance to shoot with us.
