Jenyfer and Adrian are such friends. My first maternity client was Jenyfer: I photographed her when she was pregnant with Kai, who is now 4 years old. I worked with them again when I did a 70s-style family session for the 3 of them. When Kavi came along, I did his newborn portraits, and we’ve been talking about doing a family session ever since. Finally we made it happen last weekend in Murfreesboro.

I met the 4 of them at the Murfreesboro courthouse, and we walked around that area, capturing some great portraits and many candid moments. After making our way around downtown Murfreesboro, we went back to their  home to get some shots on the trampoline, and with their dog Kirin.

These two are so in love and were very excited to welcome their son Tristan. About two weeks after Tristan’s birth, I met again with Eileen and Mark to capture them again, this time with their newborn son. The maternity and newborn photographs belong together, because they tell the beautiful story of Eileen and Mark’s transition into parenthood. I am honored to share these photographs with them, and with you. Enjoy!
