Thank you for visiting La Photographie! We are a private portrait studio located in Nashville, Tennessee, specializing in custom boudoir, glamour, pinup, & maternity portraits, as well as unique & artistic wedding photography.
My name is Stephanie May Saujon and I am the owner and photographer at La Photographie. I am a Nashville native and I love my city! Some of my favorite things are my dog Seamus, traveling near and far, reading fiction, burlesque, seeing live music, and watching silly television shows.
I absolutely love weddings! I have photographed over 120 weddings in the past 8 years. From intimate backyard shindigs to huge carnivalesque blowouts, my wedding photography experience is extensive. My style is romantic and unobtrustive, and I aim to tell your story in the most artistic way possible. I am truly at home behind the camera, and I love capturing the love and fellowship of weddings.
Since 2007 I have photographed hundreds of women from all backgrounds, including mothers, career women, college students, burlesque dancers, and professional models. Our beautiful studio is a private and fun environment where each client gets top-notch personalized service. Our all-female team has a combined 30 years experience to provide you with the best makeover and boudoir photography session in Nashville. In addition, my years of expertise in posing, styling, retouching, and photographic lighting ensures you will receive beautiful portraits that will be treasured for years to come.
One of my recent brides, Mandy, had this to say about her wedding photography experience: “Stephanie was beyond wonderful. She knows wedding photography from every angle – how to fit it into the timeline, which shots to get with who, how to capture a feeling. Professional, talented, and wonderful to work with. I can’t recommend her enough. Best money I spent on the entire shindig!”
My work in has been published in Professional Photographer Magazine, Details, Glamour, the Nashville Scene, Nashville Arts Magazine, Nashville Lifestyles Weddings, Black Bride, Tease & Cake, Bachelor Pad, the Tennessean, and the Huffington Post, as well as the how-to book Boudoir: The Guide to Excellence. I am an active volunteer for Historic Nashville and the Human Rights Campaign.
Whether you are considering La Photographie for your portraits or for your wedding, I look forward to meeting you and learning more about you.
